**How to Care for Your String of Turtles:**
1. **Light:** Place your String of Turtles near a window with plenty of indirect sunlight. While a few hours of full sun are beneficial, avoid exposing it to full sun at all times. If you're in the Northern Hemisphere, a northern-facing window is ideal, and in the Southern Hemisphere, opt for a southern-facing window. East or West-facing windows also provide optimal conditions for these plants to flourish.
2. **Water:** Regular, thorough watering is necessary for Peperomia prostrata due to its succulent leaves. Water thoroughly, but allow the top half of the potting mix to dry out before the next watering. Overwatering can lead to wilting or puffiness on the leaves, and the delicate stems are susceptible to rot. Ensure one-fourth to one-half of the potting mix dries out before watering again.
3. **Soil & Repotting:** Avoid over-potting your plant, as it prefers not to branch out too much. Increase the pot size by just one size if the roots are crowded, for example, from a 4-inch pot to a 6-inch pot. For optimal growth, use a mix of two parts high-quality cactus/succulent potting mix and one part horticultural pumice. The ideal mixture provides excellent drainage. Choose a container with drainage holes, especially for succulents like the String of Turtles.

If your plant arrives cold or appears damaged due to exposure to low temperatures, please bring it inside immediately and allow it to acclimate to room temperature.
