The blooms are white and tiny, with small black spots on the petals.

Family: Crassulaceae
Subfamily: Sedoideae
Tribe: Sedeae
Subtribe: Sedinae
Genus: Sedum

Scientific Name: Sedum dasyphyllum ‘Minor’
Common Names: Corsican Stonecrop, Thick-leaved Stonecrop, Thick Leaf Stonecrop, Blue Tears Sedum, Love and Tangles, Love and Tangle.

Care:

Light:
It takes full sun to reveal its true colors. the plant requires two to four hours of sunlight in the afternoon. South-facing or west-facing windows are preferable, but north-facing windows do not promote growth.

Soil:
It thrives in soil with good drainage. Use two parts of potting soil, two pieces of coarse sand, two parts of peat, and one part perlite or crushed charcoal.

Temperature:
During the summer, it prefers temperatures between 65°F and 75°F / 18°C and 25°C. The optimal temperature range is between 50 °F and 55 °F / 10 °C and 12.7 °C. It does best in hotter conditions. Try to avoid exposing the plant to frigid temperatures.

Water:

In the spring and summer, Sedum needs more water, but you can leave the topsoil to become slightly dry between waterings. During the winter season, water less frequently.

Fertilizer:

During the spring and summer months, use a diluted liquid fertilizer or a slow-release nitrogen-based fertilizer once per month.

Propagation:

It may be propagated readily using stem and leaf cuttings. You can cut off one of the stems and plant it in the soil where you want the plant to grow. The stem will readily root. Or remove the leaves from the stem, allow them to dry, and then insert the stem into the soil. Maintain moist potting soil until the cutting begins to grow.

Re-Potting:

Plants should be repotted annually or every two years. As the plant grows, you should repot it into a larger container so that its new branches and roots have sufficient space to develop. Repotting is best performed in the spring.

Insects and Diseases:

There are no severe pests or illnesses affecting the Sedum plant. Be vigilant for aphids and flies. You can eliminate them by spraying the foliage with insecticidal soap or neem oil.
