A lovely succulent with trailing branches and egg-shaped leaves is called Senecio herreanus. It has larger, more elongated leaves than string of pearls but nevertheless has a very similar appearance. The delicate stems, which trail from pots or creep along the ground and root at nodes, can reach lengths of over 12 inches. Fine dark green or purple stripes and a translucent window line the green leaves. The purple tint on the leaves and stems will eepen in bright sunlight.

Watering need: Low demand
All of the soil should be dry before watering. If the soil is still moist, you risk giving this plant too much water which can make it start to rot. When you water this plant, water well and then allow the soil to dry out completely before you water it again.
