The buyer will get 2 healthy Aeonium Sunburst similar to what is in the photos. The Aeonium Sunburst is a hybrid succulent plant in the family Crassulaceae. It is a popular succulent because its large, three-colored leaves form a showy rosette. The main stem of an Aeonium Sunburst shrub branches out and ends in a rosette-like arrangement. Depending on the conditions in which it grows, each rosette can be up to 30–40 cm wide. Plants that grow in the shade can be bigger and have longer leaves, while plants that grow in full sun will be more compact and smaller, with shorter, brighter leaves. This plant can grow taller and wider than 50 cm. The tips of the green, yellow, and pink leaves are sharp. Plants that grow in the shade don't usually get the pink edges that plants that grow in the sun do. Young rosettes grow in a circle around older rosettes, and then they send out branches.
Aeonium Sunburst is a hardy plant that can thrive in poor soil and a wide range of temperatures. Although, I t won't survive temperatures below 0 degrees Celsius because it can't handle the cold (32 F). If you live in an area where snow and frost are common in the winter, you should grow this plant in pots and bring them inside until the danger of frost has passed. Also, frost cloth can be used when there is only a light frost. This plant does best in the morning sun, but it can also grow in full sun and bright shade. Plants that grow in the shade will have larger, longer leaves with less color, while plants that grow in the sun will have smaller, brighter yellow, green, and pink leaves. You can plant Aeonium Sunburst in the garden or in a pot, but the pot should be pretty big. During heat waves over 40 C, potted plants should be kept in the shade in the afternoon (104F). Plants that grow in the ground should be able to handle these temperatures because their roots can stay cool.
Make sure the soil is broken up before planting. Mix in some potting mix to change the texture and help the roots grow and spread out. If you want this plant to do well, water it when the potting mix or soil has dried out. Aeonium Sunburst can survive drought, but the soil should be watered often to keep it from becoming water-repellent. Unlike most other succulents, aeonium stops growing in the summer and start growing again when it gets cooler. In the summer, it's best to leave them alone, but they will need watering when it gets hot.
To prune Aeonium Sunburst, use clean scissors to cut off the tallest head or the heads you don't want to keep. If you only want one main head on a taller stalk, you can keep cutting off offsets as they grow. If you want a bushy plant, cut off the tallest head to let the new plants grow from the roots.
